ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol is responding to 12 different crashes along a 26-mile stretch of Interstate 95 in Duval and St. Johns counties.

Twelve of the crashes happened in St. Johns County and out of those, just one person was injured, authorities tell Action News Jax.

The crashes have caused a major traffic mess all day long, as traffic came to a crawl around noon.

The roads are wet: St. Johns County has had constant showers with a half-inch of rain or more each hour.
